YCSS Child, Youth and Family Intervention Service are delighted to be accredited to the Human Services Quality Standards.
WHAT DOES THIS MEAN?
Approved services providers that are funded by the Department of Communities, Child Safety and Disability Services in Queensland are required to meet the Human Services Quality (HSQF) Standards.
HDAA Certified has applied to be endorsed as a Certification Body (CB) to certify organisations against the new standards.
Organisations select and engage their CB. The Department requires organisations to be re-certified every three years. In addition, a mid-cycle maintenance review must be conducted for all organisations, regardless of the number of programs they are funded for.
Funded organisations must be certified by and CB against the six HSQF Standards:
- Governance and management
- Service access
- Responding to individual need
- Safety, wellbeing and rights
- Feedback, complaints and appeals
- Human resources
