About YCSS

Rick and Ann Marie Matthews established YCSS in 2006, believing that every child and young person can achieve great things when given the right environment, opportunities, and support. The organisation began as an out-of-home care provider and has since grown into a multi-service organisation providing support to families and young people across south-east Queensland.

YCSS is a licensed, fee-for-service organisation that supports children, young people, families and carers, via its therapeutic programs. Our three wrap-around support programs include Youth Konnections, Keeping Kids at Home and Quality Connection Counselling. Each program is designed to empower its participants to build connections and create a safe and nurturing home environment.

YCSS operates in the South-East, South-West and Moreton Bay regions of Queensland. Our goal is to support families Queensland-wide in the near future.

Our Purpose

Our purpose is to demonstrate our respect for children, young people and families, by empowering them to achieve their unique goals.

Our Mission

Our mission is to provide a holistic, therapeutic approach, centred around stability, to address the specific needs of children, young people and families in our care.
